Engage Mobile App: Inside an Account

A guide to everything inside an account in Engage Mobile: purchases, product history, supplier usage, deals, opportunities, add to cart, and rewards.

Tapping on an account on your All Accounts tab, opens the clinic on a map, any tags that apply, and a strip of quarterly volume going back two years, showing you the shape of the relationship at a glance.

Below the clinic overview, seven tiles take you into different areas.

Once you click inside one of those options, the toolbar across the top moves you between all seven areas, without reverting to the previous page.

All Purchases

In this section, you may review all orders this account has placed for your products, ranked from newest to oldest, and the distributor that filled them.

At the top of the page, you'll see a volume trend across the top. These figures pull in sales from every supplier account the clinic has connected on Vetcove. Phone orders placed straight with a connected supplier come through too, once that supplier has logged them on their website.

⚠️ Note: If a quantity shows as zero, it's likely because the distributor hasn't reported the purchase yet. This usually settles within a day or two.

All Purchases FAQs

Can I see what a clinic buys from competitors?

No. Engage shows purchases of your own company's products only.

Which distributors does this cover?

Every distributor Vetcove supports, which currently includes Covetrus, MWI, Patterson, Midwest, First Vet, Wedgewood, Penn Vet, Amatheon, Pharmsource, and New England Animal Health. A clinic's purchases appear once they've connected that distributor account on Vetcove.

How current is the data I'm looking at?

A clinic's data loads fresh each time you open them. A lag may be on the distributor side: it can take up to 24 to 48 hours for an order to be processed and passed through, so a very recent order may not be there yet. Often same-day orders do appear.

Product History

This section highlights spend arranged by product rather than by order, with total dollars, total quantity, and how long ago the clinic last purchased. This is the fastest way to tell what products an account relies on vs. what they may have tried. only once.

💡 Pro Tip: "Last Purchase: X Weeks Ago" is usually the most useful number on this screen. It quietly tells you who's due.

Supplier Usage

In this section, you can review which distributors this account buys your products through, ranked by spend and each with a last purchase date. When clicking on each supplier utilized, you can review a breakdown of each individual order with that supplier.

Deals

Here you may view every cash back offer this account can redeem right now, with the percentage, the dates, and how long is left. Tap "View Qualifying Items" to see exactly which products count.

💡 Pro Tip: The "Ending in X days" countdown is often the most persuasive thing you can bring into a conversation.

Deals FAQs

Why can't this clinic see an offer that I can?

Not every clinic is eligible for every deal. Audiences are set when a campaign launches, and eligibility follows rules built into that campaign, driven largely by a clinic's purchasing behavior and history. If you're unsure why a particular clinic doesn't qualify, your brand manager can walk you through the rules behind that campaign.

My clinic ordered, but the cash back didn't apply.

Cash back offers apply to orders placed on Vetcove. An order placed directly with a distributor still appears in "All Purchases," but won't earn the offer.

Opportunities

This section highlights the categories where there's room to grow with this account, each with a rating and a short explanation of why. This uses the same "Very High" through "Moderate" scale as the territory-level Sell-In Opportunities. A high rating means a big category for them where your share is still small.

If a product you'd expect isn't here, the categories were set up with your leadership team and can be expanded- you can reach out to your Vetcove account manager for further help!

Add to Cart

You may suggest a product for an account's next order, along with a suggested quantity and a short note they'll see from you. It's built for the moment a clinic tells you they're planning to order your product through a distributor- adding it as a suggestion means it's in front of them the next time they sit down to buy, whoever they buy from.

"All" shows everything you can suggest. "Added" shows the suggestions you've sent that are still waiting, with a live count. That count is the handiest number in this section; it tells you at a glance what's still open.

When you send a suggestion, a green "Added" badge appears with the date. The clinic can then find it on their "Suggested Items" page alongside their carts, with your name, note, and quantity.

Suggestions will never expire and there is no time limit in which an item suggestion will disappear on its own. The suggestion will remain until the clinic buys it, dismisses it, or if you remove it.

⚠️ Note: There's a limit on how often you can suggest. To keep the feature something clinics welcome rather than tune out, adding to carts is rate-limited. If you've suggested something to the same clinic very recently, or added to a lot of carts in a short space of time, you may be asked to wait a few hours.

Add to Cart FAQs

Why did a suggestion disappear from my "Added" section?

This means the clinic saw your suggestion and acted on it. You'll receive a notification when a clinic buys your suggestion, but not when they dismiss it.

A clinic says they can't see my suggestion. What should I check?

Suggestions live on their own "Suggested Items" page, above their carts, rather than inside the cart itself. Ask where they're looking- that often resolves these cases. A clinic can also buy the item the usual way without ever opening the page, and the suggestion ends up clearing anyway. Checking the suggestion date against Product History confirms if that was the case.

Do suggestions repeat or expire?

Suggestions don't repeat on a monthly basis, so you may send a new one if you'd like a clinic prompted again at a later time. You'll be notified if the clinic buys within 30 days of your suggestion. If the clinic purchases beyond 30 days, you will not receive a notification. This is sometimes mistaken for an expiry date on the suggestion itself. The suggestion stays visible for the clinic indefinitely beyond 30 days; only the notification window is time-limited.

Can I see or change a clinic's cart?

No. A clinic's cart is entirely their own. A suggestion is an invitation on a separate page, which they're free to take or dismiss.

Rewards

If your company runs a loyalty program, Rewards is where each account's standing lives. You may view enrollment status, spend by category, qualifying orders, rewards earned, estimated total rebate, and bonus category progress. You can enroll an account here too, and a clinic that leaves a program can always be enrolled again later.

💡 Pro Tip: You can email yourself an account progress update straight from this screen. This can be especially handy for prepping a visit or sharing progress with a clinic!
