Engage Mobile App: Navigating the App

How to navigate the main sections of the app, when Engage data refreshes, and who to contact when you need support.

How the App Is Organized

Four tabs run along the bottom of every screen in the Engage app.

Here's what each one does:

Tab

What it Shows

Overview

Your whole territory at a glance — account sales volume, sell-in opportunities by category, and deal coverage by product.

All Accounts

Your full account list with search and filtering tools.

Activity

A running feed of what's happening across your territory, as it happens.

Settings

Your profile and app preferences.

Overview

The best place to start is Overview - it gives you the full territory picture before you dive into individual accounts.

Under this tab, you can find the below information:

Account Sales Volume

Every account you cover, ranked by volume over the year, largest first. It's the quickest way to see where your business sits and to spot accounts that have quietly slipped since you last looked. Tap any account to go straight into its detail.

Sell-In Opportunities

Your territory broken into market categories, each showing how many accounts sit at Very High, High, and Moderate opportunity. This is your call planning screen: pick a category, pull the Very High accounts, and build your route around them.

Reading the Ratings

Very High or High means the clinic buys a lot in that category but not much of your product yet- that's the gap worth closing. Moderate and Low mean either the category is smaller for them, or they're already buying plenty of yours.

Deal Coverage by Product

Pick a product and see every account with a cash back offer on it, and what each one earns. Useful when you're planning a push on a single product and want to lead with the accounts who'll get the most back.

All Accounts

The All Accounts tab shows your accounts alphabetically, with clinic name and location. Tap any one to open it.

An account appears once the clinic has signed up for Vetcove, connected their distributor accounts, and has some recent purchase history with your company. Clinics with no recent history are held back so your list stays focused on accounts you can act on. Your list is also matched to your territory and business unit. An equine rep sees equine-reporting clinics and a companion rep sees companion-reporting ones.

Greyed-out accounts haven't purchased from your company in the past year, haven't been active on Vetcove recently, or have lost a distributor connection. It's a deliberate signal that the numbers behind them are stale. They return to full color as soon as the clinic reactivates.

💡 Tip: To help a clinic reactivate, you'll just need to have them log in to their Vetcove account and ensure all of their applicable supplier accounts are currently connected on their Connect Suppliers Page. If a clinic is having trouble signing in to Vetcove or connected a supplier account, you may prompt them to reach out in the Vetcove live chat for assistance!

Search and Filters

Search by clinic name or zip code, then tap "Filter" at the top right to narrow things down by:

  • Corporate Group

  • Buying Group

  • Uses Home Delivery

  • Is Independent Clinic

  • State

  • Zip Code

  • Loyalty (named for your own program)

Filters stack, so "independent clinics in Kansas using Home Delivery" is a single list. Each filter shows how many options you've picked, and "Clear All" resets everything at once.

Filters stay put between sessions. If a list ever looks shorter than you expect, check the Filter counter first- it's the answer more often than not.

All Accounts FAQs

An account I'm sure is mine isn't in my list. Why?

Possible Reason

What to do

A filter is still applied

Tap "Clear All"

No recent purchase history with your company

It appears as soon as they buy

The clinic is brand new to Vetcove

New accounts arrive the Monday after the weekend sync

Found by zip code but not by name

Let our support team know and we'll refresh the search index

It's greyed out

No recent purchases, or a distributor connection needs to be restored

Your territory or role has changed

Your sales operations team can update it at the source

Why is an account in my list, but not appearing in search?

Your list and the name search index refresh on slightly different schedules. A recently added clinic can be there when you scroll but not when you search by name. Searching by zip code will find it it in the meantime, but you can always let our team know, and we'll refresh the index.

Why can colleagues see clinics I can't?

Beyond geography, two things shape your list: recent purchase history and your business unit. Your view matches the unit you cover- a companion territory shows clinics reporting companion animals, an equine territory shows equine clinics. A colleague on a different unit will see a different set.

A clinic buys a lot through a distributor but their orders aren't showing

Let your Vetcove support contact know. We can help determine if the clinic isn't connected with that supplier, or if they may be connected to an old account number.

Activity

Activity includes a running feed of notifications that highlight what's happening across your territory, grouped by day, with unread items marked.

You'll see a notification if one of your clinics:

  • Buy one of your products for the first time

  • Earn cash back

  • Purchase something you suggested

  • Sign up for your loyalty program

Activity FAQs

One of my clinics bought a different size of a product for the first time, and I didn't get a first time purchase alert.

First-purchase notifications work at the product level rather than the brand level. A different size of the same product doesn't count as new, while a genuinely different product does.

I received an alert, but the clinic says they didn't order.

Notifications currently fire on all order events, which includes free sample redemptions. If an alert clearly doesn't match a clinic's purchase history, please send our team the buyer ID and the date.

Settings

Your profile and app preferences live here. Under Account Settings you may view your profile name and email, and manage notification preferences.

You may also select Add New Clinic to invite a customer to use Vetcove, if they do not already have an account. If you invite a clinic to Vetcove and receive the sign-up email yourself, that's expected- you get a copy so you know the invitation went out, and the clinic gets theirs at the same time.

When Information Updates

Engage app data refreshes on a scheduled cadence, rather than instantly. Knowing the below frequency will help you identify whether it is expected that an update hasn't appeared yet.

What

When

New clinic accounts

The Monday after the weekend sync, once they have purchase history with your company.

Clinic name search

Refreshes Sunday night. Zip code search is always available.

Cash back campaigns

A nightly job at 8pm ET. A campaign activated today appears by the next morning.

Notifications

Daily

Distributor purchase data

Around 24 to 48 hours after the order is placed

Campaign audiences

Set when the campaign launches

Territory changes

Once your company's updated file has been processed

💡 Tip: As a rule of thumb, if something has changed today, take another look tomorrow. If a clinic is brand new, the following Monday is the appropriate the time to check back.

Engage reflects the territory and account information your company maintains. When something looks off, we can usually pinpoint exactly which record needs a change, so your team can make it once and have it flow through everywhere.

⚠️ Note: When contacting Vetcove support, please include your name and sign-in email, the clinic name and buyer ID with their zip code, which screen you were on, what you expected versus what appeared, a screenshot, and whether a colleague sees the same thing. That will typically get you an answer the same day!
