Pro Tips to optimize your search results on Vetcove

Trouble searching for items on Vetcove? We can help!

Do you sometimes find it difficult to locate your preferred items when searching for products on Vetcove? Here are some very easy tips you can use to help make searching on Vetcove more efficient and accurate for your practice!

Set Your Search Results to Automatically Filter

  • You can set your search results to automatically filter using the toggle filters on the top left corner of your search results page!

  • With your Synced Suppliers Only filter turned on, you will only see items that are being sold by the vendors that you have connected.

  • An additional pro tip is to also turn on your Previously Purchased filter. With this filter turned on, you will only see search results for items you've bought in the past!

  • This is the most efficient way to filter by your vendor order history and find what you normally buy more quickly! However, if you need to do research or explore other options, you can always turn these filters off to get a broader look into all items and catalogs.

Favorite or Hide Item Listings

  • You can also Favorite or Hide an item. Favoriting will ensure this item listing appears at the top of your search. Hiding it will put it at the bottom of the search. Just click the Details button on the listing to view these options.

Build Custom Shopping Lists

  • You can build custom lists of items so that you don't have to search every item one by one! You can start creating new shopping lists by clicking on Lists at the bottom of any item. You can view your lists anytime from the top of your page by clicking on Shopping then All Shopping Lists. Learn more here! We can also import previously created lists directly from your existing vendor accounts - just message us in the Live Chat!

  • We also automatically maintain a real-time Previous Purchases List for you with the last 2 years of purchase history! To access, click on Shopping at the top of your account then Previous Purchases.

Leave Custom Notes

  • You have the option to leave custom notes on items! These notes are only visible within your account and are a great way to communicate information about products across your practice. The most recent note appears at the top of the item as a yellow flag! To view older notes or create a new note, simply click Notes at the bottom of the listing.
