How to Link PIMS Products to Vetcove Items Tutorial:
Method 1: Directly from the Shopping Cart
If you see the gray PIMS link "None" button underneath a product in your cart, simply click into it.
Search for the name of your PIMS product.
Once you've located the corresponding product, select the blue "Link" button.
Select the unit you track this item by directly in your PIMS.
Select Update to complete the linking process.
Method 2: Directly from the PIMS Integration Page
From the Orders tab, select PIMS Integration.
Click into the Products view.
To quickly find products that still need a link, go to the left-hand side and select Unlinked Items.
Search by product name, SKU, or item ID, and click Link your first item to this PIMS product.
Tip: Use the Previous Purchase graph to locate items you frequently order to help choose which items to link.
5. Select the item via the link button, set the appropriate unit of measure, and select Update.
Managing Your Inventory & Lists
Hiding Products: If you see any products you're no longer wishing to view or track, click the Actions button and select "Hide this product." This removes it from your shopping list and critical shortage list.
Inventory Bars: Each item includes a color-coded inventory bar:
Red Bar: Your inventory has dropped below your ideal minimum quantity (the item will automatically appear in your Critical Shortages list).
Green Bar: Your on-hand quantity is listed above your set minimum quantity, which is ideal.
Add to Cart: When items are linked, click "Show 1 Item" to add to cart directly from the shopping list page. Select the supplier and click "Add to Cart."
Note: You can link multiple Vetcove items to a single PIMS product; just ensure they share the same unit of measure.
