Answers to some common questions about placing orders directly on Vetcove!

How do I place my orders directly on Vetcove?

You can easily place your vendor orders without having to leave the Vetcove site by clicking on the blue Proceed to Checkout button on the Vetcove cart page:

Using Vetcove to place your orders does not change your pricing, billing, shipping, or affect your vendor reps' commissions. Checking out on Vetcove provides an improved shopping experience and the ability to manage all of your vendor checkouts in one place. Everything else stays exactly the same!

Is there a delay when I check out on Vetcove?

Nope! Keep in mind that when you place an order on Vetcove, your order is still transferred directly to the vendor. When you place an order on Vetcove, that order is simultaneously placed in the vendor's system, as if you placed it on their site directly.

Will I be able to view my shipping & billing options?

Yes! All of the same shipping & billing options that are displayed on the vendor's site during checkout will be displayed on Vetcove as well. Your default options remain the same, but you may update the selections and review your options on the Shipping & Options page during checkout:

Who will ship my order and send my bill / invoice?

All orders that are placed on Vetcove are still ultimately processed, shipped and billed by the vendor directly. You'll receive bills and invoices from the vendor directly, just as normal, and orders will ship from them the same as always!

Are there extra fees associated when checking out on Vetcove?

No! Checking out on Vetcove does not incur any additional fees. Your pricing will remain the same as always.

Do cut-off times for next day shipping still apply?

Yes! If your practice has a specific cut-off time to receive next day shipping from a particular vendor, that cut-off will still apply when placing orders for that vendor directly on Vetcove.

If you're unsure of a cut-off time for a particular vendor, we recommend reaching out to the vendor directly for clarification โ€“ but we're always happy to provide their support numbers!

Do my order minimums for free shipping still apply?

Yes! If any of your vendors have order minimums that you must reach to qualify for free shipping, those minimums will still apply when checking out on Vetcove for those vendors.

Do my reps still receive credit for orders placed on Vetcove?

Yes! Since orders that are placed on Vetcove are still transferred to the vendor system to be processed, your reps will still receive the same commission and credit for your order, as if you placed the order directly on the vendor's website!

For any manufacturers that allow you to give credit to a particular distributor when checking out on their website, you will have the option to do so on the Shipping & Options page during checkout for that manufacturer on Vetcove as well!

Can I leave notes to my reps when checking out on Vetcove?

Yes! Any vendors that provide a "Note" field on their website during checkout will have a "Note" field on the Shipping & Options page during checkout on Vetcove as well.

Will I be able to select promotions when checking out on Vetcove?

Yes! Promotions are handled on Vetcove in the same way that they are handled on the vendors's site directly.

If you are normally prompted to select promotional items during checkout on the vendor's site, you will be prompted to do so on the Shipping & Options page on Vetcove. If you are normally prompted to reach out to your rep via email to qualify for a promotion, you will want to do the same when checking out on Vetcove.

Can I add a new billing or shipping option on Vetcove?

If you are looking to add a new billing / payment option or shipping address to your vendor account you will first want to request that update with the vendor directly. Once you make that update with the vendor, your new options should automatically be pulled into Vetcove!

Who do I reach out to if I need to update or cancel an order?

Since orders are still processed, shipped and billed by the vendors directly, if you are looking to change or cancel an order that was placed on Vetcove, you will still want to reach out to the vendor directly to do so.
