When you issue a piece of guidance to clinics, the listings in their search results change to reflect that guidance. For instance, if you have a good relationship with a certain supplier, you can mark that supplier as preferred in your guidance, and clinics will see a star next to that supplier wherever it appears in their search results to remind them to purchase from that vendor when prices are close.
In order to issue a piece of guidance, first head to Alerts in top ribbon on your screen. Then, select Edit Alerts. You’ll then see a toggle in the same banner as the text “Alert Me When . . .” that you can then click to switch to Guidance. From here, all you have to do is select a piece of guidance from the dropdown menu and fill in the fields that appear for that specific guidance, as you’d like it to appear for your hospitals. Then hit Add Guidance and your clinics will see that guidance wherever it applies on the site as they're shopping.
